I’m Jason Arkley, a southeastern Ohio native, and for nearly the entirety of my adult life I’ve worked in newspapers as a sports reporter. That changed in April 2020 when I was dismissed from The Athens Messenger after 15 years of covering Ohio University and the region’s sports scene.
